PzKpfw III recuperado en Noruega


PzKpfw III Ausf N en Noruega



Este PzKpfw III Ausf N fue recuperado en Noruega, pertenecía al Pz. Abt. 211, Pz.Abt. “Norwegen” y se encuentra en condiciones de ser restaurado.

El Pz.Abt. “Norwegen” fue creado el 25 de agosto de 1943 en Noruega con elementos de la 25º Panzerdivision. Desde ese momento hasta marzo de 1944 la unidad se entrenó en tierras noruegas y se fue reforzando con unidades menores. En abril de 1944 dejó Noruega y fue enviada a Dinamarca y de ahí a Francia. Para el 1 de mayo de 1944 el Pz.Abt. “Norwegen” disponía de un total de 10 StuG III, 14 PzKpfw II, 43 PzKpfw III, 42 PzKpfw IV y 7 SdKfz 251. En 1944 el PzKpfw III Ausf N se consideraba ya obsoleto para la lucha carro contra carro y sólo era apto para el apoyo cercano a la infantería con su obús L/24 de 75 mm.
