Semovente M42T da 75/46



Con la firma del armisticio por parte italiana los alemanes tomaron el control de mucho material italiano, fábricas e instalaciones. Una de ellas fue Ansaldo y pronto ordenaron la puesta en marcha de la producción de una versión modificada del M42L armada con un cañón de 105 mm (46 calibres). El resultado final fue denominado M42T (Tedesco, alemán) pero solo se fabricó un pequeño lote de 11 vehículos que fueron utilizados por los alemanes entre 1944-45.

Bajo servicio alemán el vehículo recibió la designación de Sturmgeschutz M43 mit 75/46 852(i). El armamento principal disponía de 48 proyectiles y tenía un giro limitado, tanto a izquierda como a derecha, de 19º de movimiento manual. La elevación máxima era de +22º y una depresión de -12º, también manual. El vehículo estaba protegido por 100 mm en el mantalete, 50 mm en el frontal (a 35º) y 70/100 en la superestructura (a 90º)

With the signing of the armistice by the Italian side the Germans took control of much Italian material, plants and facilities. One was Ansaldo and soon ordered the implementation of the production of a modified version of M42L armed with a cannon of 105 mm (46 gauge). The end result was called M42T (Tedesco, German) but only produced a small batch of 11 vehicles that were used by the Germans between 1944-45.

Under German service the vehicle was designated M43 mit 75/46 Sturmgeschutz 852 ​​(i). The main armament of 48 missiles available and had a limited turning both left and right, 19 degrees of manual movement. The maximum elevation was +22° and -12° depression, also manual. The vehicle was protected by the mantalete 100 mm, 50 mm in front (35º) and 70/100 in the superstructure (90º)
